ReplyDeleteVery pretty...awakening. It is so tiny with such a clear focus.
ReplyDeleteThis Austin weather is crazy. I just covered up my tomato plants. :/
I've been wanting a pomegranate...flowers and fruit the deer don't eat, bushy shelter for birds. Your post is a good reminder.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful leaves, and those spines look like they mean business! Good luck with the contest.
ReplyDeleteoh, that's nice. I love the young tender leaves contrasting with the dry thorns. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteAnd your photo was one of my favorites! Boy was I nervous clicking through -- I really didn't want to have to give a non-committal compliment. Phew! Why have I not seen your blog before? I'll be reading now. Thank you for the lovely compliment.
ReplyDeleteThey really are lovely little trees, aren't they, Caroline? My 'Wonderful' can't manage to make 1 fruit on 6 feet of plant, but the 1-foot tall dwarf pomegranate made 2 fruits last year.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with this terrific photo ;-]
